- It's almost the holiday season, and for the first time ever, we'll be on vacation for Chanukah, Christmas and New Year's. Marianne's dream had always been to go to Salzburg, Austria for Christmas, and well, I was bribed with a trip to Italy to agree to such a cold excursion... So, thanks to frequent flier miles (mine), accrued vacation time (Cindy's), and the magic of the holiday season, we're spending two weeks exploring Sorrento, Florence, Munich, Salzburg, Venice and Rome.
